Welcome the site for Catholic Women of the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn.

Since early 2018 a coordinating group has organised several opportunities for consultation with a view to

  1. Contributing to the Plenary 2020 (A Plenary Council is the highest formal gathering of all local churches in a country. Plenary Council 2020 is an opportunity to dialogue about the future of the Catholic Church in Australia.)
  2. Checking if and how a Catholic Women’s Network could work in the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn. (Large gatherings were held on 8 September and 1 December in 2018)

In 2019 we are consulting with women in regional areas through May, June and July at Bateman’s Bay, Bega, Nimmitabel, Goulburn, Young and Braidwood. pdf Flyer advertising the regional consultations (252 KB) .
